2018 was an incredible year for the University of Arizona and we accomplished a great deal. 

This mission has been 10 years in the making, and is a proud accomplishment for the University of Arizona.

I am thrilled to share with you that the University of Arizona has announced a significant gift to support the College of Optical Sciences.

I am pleased to announce that we have launched a national search to fill the position of Senior Vice President, Business Affairs and CFO (SVP/CFO). The person selected for this role will be a crucial member of my senior team and will provide strategic leadership of the UA’s finance and administrative functions. Responsible for managerial oversight of the division of Business Affairs, they will lead areas of the university ranging from financial services to facilities management and the UAPD.
 

This morning, I was honored to represent the collective voice of the University of Arizona as I presented our new strategic plan to the Arizona Board of Regents. Now, I want to take a moment to say THANK YOU, because this plan would not exist without you.

I am pleased to announce the hiring of Ronald A. Wilson as the University of Arizona’s new Title IX Director. 

The University of Arizona Police Department has submitted the 2018 Annual Campus Safety, Security, and Fire Safety Report. I encourage you all to read them to stay informed about our community.
