Forbes Names UArizona a 'Best Employer for Diversity'

An $8 million investment in medical education will allow for the expansion of the UA College of Medicine – Phoenix and address the state's physician shortage by providing tuition waivers for medical students.

I am pleased to announce the appointments of Dr. Liesl Folks as Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost and Dr. Elizabeth (Betsy) Cantwell as Senior Vice President for Research and Innovation. They both will begin their roles at the University of Arizona on July 29, reporting directly to me as key members of the UA’s senior executive team.
