Steve Voeller

Steve Voeller is the chief government relations officer at the University of Arizona. In this role, he works closely with the Office of the President, university leadership, faculty, and staff, as well as business and nonprofit partners across the state, to advance the university’s priorities throughout Arizona. He leads teams in Tucson, Phoenix, and Washington, D.C., representing the university at the federal, state, and local level.

Voeller brings more than three decades of experience in government relations and public policy at both the state and national levels. He previously served as Chief of Staff to Senator Jeff Flake in both the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives and held positions in Congressman Matt Salmon’s Washington and Arizona offices.

Voeller is a graduate of Arizona State University and lives with his family in Cave Creek, Arizona.
