Congratulations to a member of the Banner-UA team!

To the UA Community, 

I want to congratulate Sarah Sellers on her extraordinary achievement in earning second place in the Boston Marathon over the weekend.
 
Sarah is a full-time nurse anesthetist at Banner University Medical Center – Tucson, and she stunned marathon enthusiasts and media across the country when she came in as the runner up in the women’s division. She was an accomplished runner at Weber State University, but this was only her second marathon. She had no sponsors and she was not listed among the elite runners. A virtual unknown before Monday, she is now making national headlines and is an inspiration to all of us.
 
This is an amazing achievement for a member of the Banner-UA healthcare team. Please join me in congratulating Sarah on her incredible run in arguably the worst weather conditions since the beginning of the Boston Marathon.
