Brad Bohlander oversees the University's brand identity and central communications functions in line with the institution's mission, values and strategic priorities. These include marketing, public and media relations, crisis communications and issues management, web and digital communications, social media, internal communications and creative services.
With more than 20 years of experience in public higher education, his expertise spans award-winning communications culture and effectiveness as well as leading university communities to new levels of collaboration, visual and core message consistency, and overall marketing and communications success.
Prior to joining the University in 2023, he served as chief communications and marketing officer at North Carolina State University since 2011. He also was the executive director of public relations and university spokesperson for Colorado State University from 2002 to 2011, moving to that position from the University of Colorado system, where he served as associate director for institutional relations from 1999 to 2002.
