UA Alumni Association Reporting Change


The UA Alumni Association serves more than 260,000 University graduates through programming and communications that keep alumni connected to the University and engaged with its missions of discovery and community partnership throughout their lives. The Alumni Association has historically been viewed as an auxiliary unit to main campus. I am pleased to announce that it will now report to University Relations while maintaining its 501(c)3 status.

This integration of Alumni Association activities with campus-wide branding and communications strategies will invigorate and renew alumni connections, and encourage active participation within the University community. Serving as a front door to the UA, the Alumni Association’s vibrant chapter and club network, alumni membership program and leadership groups provide a strong network for driving the reputation and success of the institution as a whole. With the support of alumni throughout the nation and world, integrated campus communications and messaging will emerge under new leadership to position the UA for global success throughout the 21st and 22nd centuries.
